Meetings
Lead and take part in meetings: give opinions, agree, disagree, interrupt and summarise.
💡 Tips from the pros
- Prepare 2–3 sentences for your update before the meeting. It removes most of the stress.
- Disagree with the idea, not the person: "I see your point, but…" keeps the tone positive.
- It is completely normal to interrupt politely in English meetings — just use a softener.
- Check understanding instead of pretending: "Just to make sure I understand…".
- Always finish with action points: who, what, by when.
Listen to each phrase, then press the mic and say it.
